Conventions are expensive.
Table costs, lodging costs, gas, food (We usually buy stuff to make sandwiches, and maybe one meal a day outside of the convention center area), merchandise cost, and emergency funds (because the unexpected always happens. Anyone who says otherwise is lying or new to conventions).
For the fans we would like to do more conventions and shows, and $600 is about the average for costs for most of the conventions and shows that we have a table at. Some are more expensive, some are less expensive ( it's a rare convention or show or event that doesn't cost something to vend at), but we'd really love to be able to expand our list of shows, which would help increase resources and funding which would help us give back better quality pictures, video's, and web material.
